Step 1: Remove the T33 Filter
Start by taking off the top cover of your filter. Locate the T33 filter, which is number four and the last one in line. Rotate it a quarter turn to the left (counterclockwise) to unlock it. Carefully pull out the T33 filter from its housing.
Step 2: Prepare the O-rings
The O-ring bag should have been sent with your machine, or sent separately. Open the bag and take out the O-rings.
Step 3: Install the O-rings
Inspect the T33 filter and identify the two ports where the water goes through. Take one O-ring and place it over one of the ports. Slide it all the way to the bottom using your fingers. Repeat this step with the other O-ring on the remaining port.
Step 4: Reinstall the T33 Filter
With the O-rings in place, it's now time to put the T33 filter back into its housing. Position the T33 filter with the number facing towards the right side (if you are facing the front side with the screen). Press down firmly to ensure a tight seal with the O-rings. Twist the filter clockwise to lock it securely in place.
Step 5: Preventing Further Leaks
By correctly installing the O-rings, you should prevent any further leaks. However, if you still experience flashing lights indicating a possible leak, it may be due to residual water. Allow the machine to dry thoroughly, especially the sensor at the bottom that detects any water presence. Once dried, the leaks should be eliminated.
